We created a list with laboratories for Covid-19 tests (PCR and Rapid Antigen test) for the most popular destinations in Greece. We hope it will come handy for the non-vaccinated travellers that will need a negative test result in order to fly back home.

Note that you will need to arrange an appointment with the laboratory for your testing. We would recommend fixing the appointment as soon as you arrive and not schedule it for the last minute. Make sure to have been tested at least 24hours ahead of your time of departure in order to have the results on time.

The test prices are fixed: 60€ for the PCR and 20€ for the Rapid Antigen Test. Some laboratories might charge more if the testing is made during weekends.

You can ask to receive the results in English by e-mail in order to use them for your travelling. Make sure to request to write your ID/Passport number on the results and that the spelling of your name matches with your travel documents.

**Free Rapid Antigen tests in Greek major cities

There are free COVID19 testing points in central parts in different Greek cities that do tests (only rapid antigen) everyday usually during morning hours until the afternoon. You don’t need to book an appointment, you just show up with your passport. The results will be sent to you in Greek via sms or email a few hours later. The exact points and testing time are announced a day earlier on the official website, but unfortunately that information is only in Greek.

For Athens, the free testing point is usually in the entrance hall of Syntagma metro station.
